BOC Edwards SP Speedivalves are diaphragm sealed in-line, isolation valves available in nominal bore sizes of 10, 16, 25 and 40 mm. They are all similar in construction and consist essentially of a flexible elastomer diaphragm which is sealed onto a lightly polished seat by a screw thread mechanism.

They are all similar in construction and consist essentially of a flexible elastomer diaphragm which is sealed onto a lightly polished seat by a screw thread mechanism.
The mechanism is isolated from the system by the diaphragm resulting in an extremely rugged and ‘dirty’ system tolerant valve. The valve body is made from aluminum and the complete valve is leak tight to better than 10-6 mbar l s-1 / 8 x 10-7 Torr l s-1 at 1 bar differential. Diaphragms are available in nitrile and fluoroelastomer.
The valves terminate in NW flanges and the SP10K, SP16K and SP25K valves can be pipeline supported or panel mounted. These valves have indicators to show the ‘open’ position. The SP40K is suitable for pipeline mounting only.

The Speedivalve range of isolation valves has been extended to include NPT and BSP variants.

The SP40T is suitable for pipeline
mounting only.

IBV SERIES VACUUM BALL VALVES

PVMK MANUAL OPERATION ISOLATION
VALVES
The PVMKA (aluminum body) and PVMKS (stainless steel body) are quick acting, lever operated valves. The lever, connected to a self-lubricating plastic cam-piston, actuates the valve stem and valve plate through PTFE bearings. The valve plate ‘O’ ring groove is vented to prevent gas bursts. |
The valves are designed to operate down to 10- 9 mbar / 8 x 10-10 Torr and up to a pressure of 2100 mbar / 1575 Torr (30 psi).
