PVEK SOLENOID OPERATION
ISOLATION VALVES
The bellows sealed PVEK solenoid operated valves are available with either aluminum (A) or stainless steel (S) bodies. We offer both right-angle (PVEK) and in-line (IPVEK) versions of the valve to give you more options when you design your vacuum system. These valves are among the most
compact and lightweight solenoid valves available.
The PVEK valves offer all of these advantages:
• Transient high power for opening - electronically switched
• Low energy consumption in the ‘hold open’ position
• Enclosure rating to IP55
• Grease free vacuum
|
• MTTF up to 500000 cycles
• Circuit protected against transient low voltages
• Improved circuit board reliability
• User friendly plug and socket connections to IP65
The twin coils combined with an electronic switching circuit will enable high power to be applied for a very short period to open the valve, the power then being automatically reduced to low levels to hold the valve in the open position.
A reed switch is included to indicate open and closed conditions. Improved circuit board design has achieved enhanced life expectancy up to 5 times that of the previous design. Overall MTTF for the valves is up to 500000 cycles.

LCPVEK SOLENOID OPERATION
ISOLATION VALVES
BOC Edwards’ new aluminum LCPVEK valves are designed for vacuum applications which need a compact, simple, solenoid operation valve to control gas flow. These economical valves are ideal for a number of duties ranging from simple laboratory pump isolation to OEM vacuum system integration and design. Their versatility makes them effective both in vacuum pipelines and in chamber admittance applications. Careful design of the solenoid power control and vacuum isolation components delivers efficient magnetic actuation with optimum vacuum performance at an affordable price.
|
This facilitates the use of an electrically actuated valve in many applications where previously this had been uneconomic.
• Economical design can be used in low budget applications
• Electrical actuation
• Low power requirements
• Electronic boost power supply
• Efficient magnetic design
• Aluminum body with fluoroelastomer vacuum seals
• 10-6 to 1000 mbar / 8 x 10-7 - 750 Torr operating range
• Versatile 24 V option.
